Tired Hands Brewing Co. is releasing a new version of its popular Guillenmot saison today.
The new variant of the popular beer — known as GuillyVianilly around the brewery — is an 8.5 percent ABV saison that has been conditioned in oak barrels with Mexican dark chocolate and Madagascar Vanilla beans “for many moons.”
The Ardmore, Pa.-based brewery has released variants of the saison before, including Guillemot Nebula (8.5 percent ABV) which was 50 percent fermented in Jim Bean barrels and 50 percent fermented in Chaddsford red wine barrels and Guillemot Prunus (8.5 percent ABV), which was fermented in Jim Bean barrels with cherries.
According to a post on the the breweries’ Facebook page, only 216 500ml bottles ($18) of GuillyVianilly will be sold at the brewery, with only 36 bottles available per day. The brewery opens at 4 p.m. local time.
