Tired Hands Brewing Co.’s newest beer combines two unlikely ingredients.

The Ardmore, Pa.-based brewery has added Kerry’s Smooth & Creamy, a 5.9 percent ABV pale ale brewed with oats and yerba matte tea and “hopped intensely” with citra and cascade hops. The finished brew was then conditioned on lime juice, lime zest and peanut butter.

According to a post on the brewery’s Instagram page, the beer was brewed with “our Mon Mec, Kerry Watson, who loves peanut butter beers,” and features “notes of lime zest, ripe pear, light cream, herbal tea, fresh grass, and flowers.” In addition, Tired Hands has a cask variation of the beer on tap that was also conditioned on Vietnamese hot peppers.

Kerry’s Smooth & Creamy is on tap now at the Tired Hands Brew Café.
