Two Greenville, S.C.-based breweries have collaborated on not one, not two, but four different beers in a new series.
The beers from Thomas Creek Brewery and Birds Fly South Ale Project all use the same “golden saison” base, but each of the four variants are conditioned on different fruit for up to one year. The beers are being brewed and bottled at Thomas Creek Brewery.
The four beers in the American Sour Series are:
- American Sour Tart Cherry Ale (6.8 percent ABV)
- American Sour Black Currants Ale (6.8 percent ABV)
- American Sour Raspberry Ale (6.8 percent ABV)
- American Sour Blackberry Ale (6.8 percent ABV)
According to labels filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), all four variants in the American Sour Series will be packaged in 750ml bottles. An email sent to both breweries for additional information was not immediately returned.
