The bottle releases for The Collective Brewing Project continue to come fast and furious.

The newest beer to be bottled is Bourbon Barrel Bug Rye’d, an approximately 5.7 percent ABV rye porter brewed with brettanomyces that was aged in a blend of bourbon barrels for six months before being transferred to stainless tanks, where it was fermented on both sweet and tart cherries for an additional two months. The beer uses the Fort Worth, Texas-based brewery’s Mustache Rye’d, which was first introduced in 2014, the bourbon barrel variant has been released before on draft.

According to Mike Goldfuss, co-owner of The Collective Brewing Project, approximately 1,500 500ml bottles ($15) will be available with no purchase limits when Bourbon Barrel Bug Rye’d goes on sale on April 8.
