This month, The Bruery will be shipping White Chocolate 2019, a 14.3 percent ABV wheatwine-style ale aged in bourbon barrels for “over a year” and conditioned on vanilla beans and cacao nibs sourced from TCHO Chocolate in San Francisco. The Placentia, Calif.-based brewery debuted the ale in 2012 and has historically been packaged in 750ml bottles.

Since that time, there have been a number of variants released of the bourbon barrel-aged ale, including White Chocolate with Cherries, a 14.2 percent ABV wheatwine-style ale brewed with cacao nibs sourced from TCHO Chocolate in San Francisco, tart cherries and vanilla beans before being aged in bourbon barrels and White Chocolate Chunk, a 14.1 percent ABV wheatwine-style ale brewed with cacao nibs, macadamia nuts and vanilla before being aged in bourbon barrels.

In an email, Jeremy Grinkey, senior production manager at The Bruery, told Tenemu that White Chocolate 2019 is scheduled to ship to “limited distribution” this month.
