For the second year in a row, one of The Bruery’s flagship barrel-aged stouts will be sold in cans.

The beer in question is Black Tuesday 2020, a 19.3 percent ABV imperial stout aged in bourbon barrels for over a year.

While the stout had historically been sold in 750ml bottles since it was first packaged, the brewery also sold Black Tuesday 2019 in 16-ounce cans for the first time last year and a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) indicates that the newest version of Black Tuesday will continue that tradition for this year’s release.

Although details for this year’s release of Black Tuesday have not yet been made public, the stout has historically been made available to members of the brewery’s various membership clubs in early October, with members of the public able to purchase a limited number of bottles soon after.

Last year, Black Tuesday 2019 was packaged in both 16-ounce cans ($18) as well as 750ml bottles ($30) that went on sale on The Bruery’s webstore with a two can and six bottle per person purchase limit respectively on Oct. 30.
