One of The Bruery’s most popular stouts will be in fans’ hands by Halloween.
Later this month, The Bruery will be releasing Black Tuesday 2018, a 19.5 percent ABV imperial stout aged in bourbon barrels for over a year. There have been a number of variants of the imperial stout since it was first released in 2009, including including Grey Monday, Mocha Wednesday, Chocolate Rain and Rum Barrel Black Tuesday, which as the name implies, is aged in rum barrels instead of bourbon barrels.
Although Black Tuesday was made available to members of the brewery’s various membership clubs on Oct. 1, The Bruery is also putting bottles up for sale on its website for everyone else. According to a post on The Bruery’s website, Black Tuesday 2018 will be packaged in 750ml bottles ($29.99) and will be put up for sale at The Bruery’s webstore on Oct. 30, where there will be a six bottle per person purchase limit.
This year, purchasers have multiple ways to pick up Black Tuesday 2018: bottles can be shipped to an address in California starting on Nov. 12, or they can pick up their bottles at The Bruery’s tasting rooms starting Oct. 30, at the Store at Union Market in Washington, D.C. starting Nov. 13 or at the Orange County facility starting on Nov. 12.
