A barrel-aged porter from The Bruery was inspired by the biscotti desert.
The Placentia, Calif.-based brewery is working on releasing Brycescotti, a 13.3 percent ABV imperial porter aged in bourbon barrels with cacao nibs, coffee sourced from Be Well Coffee and toasted almonds. The original recipe for the beer was developed by employees Bryce Keating and “Uncle Lee.”
According to labels filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), Brycescotti will be packaged in 750ml bottles.
An email sent to the brewery for additional information was not immediately returned.
