One of The Bruery’s most popular stouts may getting a brand new variant.
Black Tuesday Maple is a 17.2 percent ABV imperial stout brewed with maple syrup and aged in maple syrup barrels before being packaged in 750ml bottles.
As the name indicates, the base beer is the Placentia, Calif.-based brewery’s Black Tuesday bourbon barrel-aged imperial stout that debuted in 2009.
There have been a number of variants of the imperial stout since it was first released, including including Grey Monday, Mocha Wednesday, Chocolate Rain and Rum Barrel Black Tuesday, which as the name implies, is aged in rum barrels instead of bourbon barrels.
An email sent to the brewery for additional information was not immediately returned.
