Terrapin Beer Co. is crossing yet another dessert-based beer off of the list with its newest Reserve Series release.

Tiramisu-Hoo is an 8.5 percent ABV imperial milk stout brew with cocoa nibs.  As with the brewery’s White Chocolate Moo-Hoo and Moo-HooChiato releases, Tiramisu-Hoo uses the popular Moo-Hoo chocolate stout as a base, then adds cocoa nibs from Olive & Sinclair Chocolate Co.

“Soak up all the flavor in our newest reserve series beer, ‘Tiramisu-Hoo’ Imperial Milk Stout,” reads the beer label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB). “With all the attributes of a finely executed dessert, we have managed to create a beer that is layered with all the goodness you would expect from a succulent slice of Italian history.”

Tiramisu-Hoo is the seventh release in Athens, Ga.-based Terrapin’s Reserve Series, which also includes Cinnamon Roll’d Wake-n-Bake (9.4 percent ABV), White Chocolate Moo-Hoo (6 percent ABV), Imperial Pumpkin Porter (9.2 percent ABV), French Toasted W-n-B (9.4 percent ABV) and Moo-Hoochiato (6.1 percent ABV) and Maggie’s Blackberry Cobbler (8.55 percent ABV).

As with the other releases in the series, Tiramisu-Hoor will be packaged in 22-ounce bottles. An email sent to the brewery for additional details was not immediately returned.
