Terrapin Beer Co. has sent Krunkles to a new place on the map for its newest release.
The Athens, Ga.-based brewery will be releasing Krunkles Down Under, a 6.6 percent ABV “South Pacific Style” IPA that is brewed with both New Zealand and Australia.
“Krunkles returns with a new IPA from his time spent on the underside of the world,” reads the beer label. “Brewed with hops exclusively from New Zealand and Australia, this “South Pacific IPA” is paced with so much flavor, it might even mate a Kiwi say G’Day!”
Krunkles Down Under will be the fifth “Krunkles” beer, all of which are different IPAs, and all of which are under Terrapin’s “Side Projects” Series.
According to filings with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), the new release will be packaged in 12-ounce cans. An email sent to the brewery for additional details was not returned.
