According to a label filed with Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), Terrapin Beer Co. is working on releasing Beerista Barrel-Aged Wake-n-Bake, a coffee oatmeal imperial stout that is a blend of two different beers: the first is a version of the stout that was aged in bourbon barrels while the second version was brewed with a “heavy dose” of lactose sugar. The Athens, Ga.-based brewery then added cold brew coffee sourced from Jittery Joe’s Coffee in Athens before the final creation is set to be packaged in 16-ounce cans.

Beerista Barrel-Aged Wake-n-Bake will be the latest in a long line of variants based on Terrapin’s Wake-n-Bake, a 9.4 percent ABV coffee oatmeal stout brewed with nugget hops and a blend of Costa Rican, Guatemalan and Zimbabwe coffee sourced from Jittery Joe’s Coffee that debuted in 2013.

An email sent to the brewery for additional information was not immediately returned.
