An upcoming release from Terrapin Beer Co. will look familiar to fans.

The beer is Moo-HooChiato, an 8.5 percent ABV chocolate espresso milk stout that uses the popular Moo-Hoo chocolate stout (6 percent ABV) as a base, then adds both cocoa nibs from Olive & Sinclair Chocolate Co. and espresso from Jittery Joe’s Coffee as well as lactose sugar for a creamier mouthfeel and some slight sweetness. This is the second time that Moo-HooChiato has been released, after the original version was sold in 2014 at a lower 6.1 percent ABV packaged in 22-ounce bottles.

In an email, Leah Kuck, marketing and communications for Terrapin, told Tenemu that the newest incarnation of Moo-HooChiato will be packaged in 500ml bottles and is scheduled to be released in limited quantities throughout its distribution network starting in early November.
