Terrapin Beer Co. is replacing a packaging option for one of its most popular seasonal releases.
The beer is Wake-n-Bake, a 9.4 percent ABV coffee oatmeal stout brewed with nugget hops and a blend of Costa Rican, Guatemalan and Zimbabwe coffee sourced from Athens, Ga.-based Jittery Joe’s Coffee. The oatmeal stout was first released by the Athens, Ga.-based brewery in 2013 and is currently available packaged in four-packs of 12-ounce bottles.
In an email, Leah Kuck, marketing and communications for Terrapin told Tenemu that Wake-n-Bake will be packaged exclusively in six-packs of 12-ounce cans and on draft, with the new cans shipping to retailers across the brewery’s distribution network starting in November.
