Terrapin Beer Co.’s Reserve Series has included beers with flavors of white chocolate, cinnamon rolls and pumpkin pie, so the next release in the series should come as no surprise.
Maggie’s Blackberry Cobbler is a 8.55 percent ABV imperial farmhouse ale that is brewed with both fresh blackberries and graham crackers in order to invoke the memory of “Granny’s kitchen on a Sunday afternoon,” according to a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB.)
Maggie’s Blackberry Cobbler is the sixth release in Athen, Ga.-based Terrapin’s Reserve Series, which also includes Cinnamon Roll’d Wake-n-Bake (9.4 percent ABV), White Chocolate Moo-Hoo (6 percent ABV), Imperial Pumpkin Porter (9.2 percent ABV), French Toasted W-n-B (9.4 percent ABV) and Moo-Hoochiato (6.1 percent ABV).
As with the other releases in the series, Maggie’s Blackberry Cobbler will be packaged in 22-ounce bottles. An email sent to the brewery for additional details was not immediately returned.
