A new IPA from Terrapin Beer Co. is brewed with four varieties of Cryo hops.

According to a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), the beer in question is Cryophonic, a 5.5 percent ABV IPA that is brewed with four varieties of cryogenically processed hops, which gives the beer “a smooth tonal balance and wide dynamic range.” The new ale is scheduled to be packaged in 12-ounce cans.

The Athens, Ga.-based brewery has released an IPA incorporating Cryo hops before, namely Cryosphere, a 5.5 percent ABV IPA that was included in the brewery’s IPA Survival Kit sampler that released earlier this year.

An email sent to the brewery for additional details was not immediately returned.
