A new beer from SweetWater Brewing Co. is on its way, this one brewed to celebrate one of the brewery’s big milestones.

According to a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), that new beer will be 24th Anniversary Sour IPA, a beer brewed – you guessed it – to celebrate the brewery’s twenty-four years of being in business. Brewed with blackberries and raspberries, this foeder-aged, double dry-hopped sour IPA is set to clock in at 5.9 percent ABV. The Atlanta-based brewery will be releasing this beer in a rather unique format: in 375ml bottles and only 150 cases of the beer were made.

Last year’s anniversary celebration had an event take place in the taproom on Feb. 15th but no word yet on whether or not an event will take place in 2021 to mark the occasion.

An email sent to the brewery for additional information was not immediately returned.
