A blast from SweetWater Brewing Co.’s past is making a comeback.
The beer in question is Exodus Porter, a 6.2 percent ABV porter brewed with caramel, chocolate, Munich and two-row malts as well as centennial and Styrian Golding hops. Originally brewed in 2002 on singer Bob Marley’s birthday, the porter was sold in 12-ounce bottles and discontinued in April 2013.
According to labels filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), the newest incarnation of Exodus Porter will be packaged in 12-ounce bottles. An email sent to the Atlanta-based brewery for additional information was not immediately returned.
