Fans of Surly Brewing Co. deserve a vacation, and the brewery has just the beer for them.
In an email, a spokesperson for the Minneapolis, Minn.-based brewery told Tenemu it will be releasing Staycation, a 6.4 percent ABV IPA brewed with pineapple, lactose sugar and tropical hops.
The IPA was first released as a draft-only option last month, but this will be the first time it has been packaged. In addition, the draft-only release was brewed with Centennial hops, but it is unclear whether the packaged version of the IPA will use the same hops.
According to the spokesperson, Staycation IPA will be packaged in 16-ounce cans that are scheduled to have a limited distribution at some point in 2019.
