Last year, Surly Brewing Co. released a beer commemorating its 10th anniversary, and now a variant is on the way.
According to a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), the Minneapolis, Minn.-based brewery will be releasing Barrel-Aged Ten Ale, an old ale brewed with pale ale, crystal malts and invert sugar before being aged in rum barrels. The ale was first released as a draft-only option in 2016, but this will be the first time it has been packaged.
Barrel-Aged Ten will be packaged in 750ml bottles. An email sent to the brewery for additional information was not immediately returned.
