Stone Brewing Co.’s Enjoy By series is getting at least one more release before the end of the year.

According to sales materials, the Escondido, Calif.-based brewery will be releasing Enjoy By 12.26.14 right before Thanksgiving. The 9.4 percent ABV IPA is sold in 22-ounce bottles and on draft, and was brewed with 13 different hop varieties: Ahtanum, super galena, simcoe, Amarillo, Delta, target, Calypso, cascade, citra, galaxy, nelson sauvin, Motueka and Helga.

This will be the ninth Enjoy By release in 2014, which has also included Enjoy By 12.05.14, Enjoy By 10.31.14, Enjoy By 09.20.14, Enjoy By 08.16.14, Enjoy By 07.04.14, Enjoy By 05.16.14, Enjoy By 04.20.14 and Enjoy By 02.14.14.

“You have in your hands a devastatingly fresh double IPA”, explains the bottle label. “While freshness is a key component of many beers – especially big, citrusy, floral IPAs – we’ve taken it further, a lot further, in this IPA. You see, we specifically brewed it NOT to last. We’ve not only gone to extensive lengths to ensure that you’re getting this beer in your hands within an extraordinarily short window, we made sure that the Enjoy By date isn’t randomly etched in tiny text somewhere on the label, to be overlooked by all but the most attentive of retailers and consumers. Instead, we’ve sent a clear message with the name of the beer itself that there is no better time than right now to enjoy this IPA.”

Earlier this year, Stone turned the Enjoy By idea on its head by releasing Enjoy After 10.31.15, an IPA with brettanomyces wild yeast added to it, which will add an unknown factor to what the beer will taste like after it develops.

While some of the releases have only been distributed in certain states, for example, Enjoy By 12.05.14 was only sold in California, the newest incarnation will be sold in 28 states and Puerto Rico and will start shipping to distributers on Nov. 21.
