Stone Brewing Co.’s popular stout inspired by Mexican hot chocolate is back this week.

Xocoveza Mocha Stout 2017 is an 8.1 percent ABV milk stout brewed with English challenger and English East kent holdings hops as well as cocoa, pasilla peppers, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, milk sugar and coffee sourced from San Diego-based Mostra Coffee. It was last seen in October 2016, and is based on the recipe of Chris Banker, who won the 2014 Stone Homebrew Competition.

According to a post on Stone’s website, Xocoveza Mocha Stout 2017 will be packaged in six-packs of 12-ounce bottles and is being released at all seven California Stone Brewing locations on Sept. 22, with bottles scheduled to ship to retailers nationwide the next week.
