According to filings with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), Stone’s Arrogant Bastard will be releasing the Bastard’s Midnight Brunch.

Arrogant Bastard Brewing Co., now a separate entity from Stone Brewing Co. of Escondida, Calif., is well-known for its line of Bastard beers. The Bastard’s Midnight Brunch takes the Depth-Charged Double Bastard Ale then ages it in Kentucky bourbon barrels and Northeast Ohio maple syrup barrels.

This beer weighs in at 12.7 percent ABV and will be packaged in 500ml bottles. Hop variety and IBUs are marked on the Arrogant Bastard website as “classified.”

The label recommends storing the beer at 55 degrees Fahrenheit or below and finishes with a bit of advice:

“The bottle is worth a special occasion. Create yours to accompany it.”

An email sent to Stone was not returned, the company normally does not comment on beers until a formal press release is published.
