The w00t is back.

According to labels filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), Stone Brewing Co. will be releasing Stone Farking Wheaton W00tstout 2017, a 13 percent ABV imperial stout brewed with rye, wheat malt and pecans before being partially aged in Kentucky bourbon barrels.  A collaboration between actor Wil Wheaton, creator Drew Curtis and Stone CEO Greg Koch, the stout is named after Wheaton’s annual festival celebrating cross-genre geekdom w00tstock.

This will be the fifth year the imperial stout will be available after it debuted in 2013. The artwork on the newest incarnation has been drawn by artist Walt Simonson, who is best known for his work on Marvel Comic’s Thor, Star Wars and Alien, among others. According to the bottle label, Simonson agreed to supply the artwork for the beer in exchange for Stone’s donation to The Hero Initiative, which is a charity that provides retirement funds for golden-age comic book artists.

As with previous incarnations, Stone Farking Wheaton W00tstout 2017 will be packaged in 22-ounce bottles and although the beer has historically been released in July, a release date has not been announced.

An email sent to the brewery for additional information was not immediately returned.
