The name of a new collaboration between Stone Brewing Co. and Evil Twin Brewing translates to treat ills.

Saures Übel is a 9.5 percent ABV imperial berliner weisse-syle ale brewed with elderflowers. The new joint effort is one of Stone’s Groundbreaking Collaborations that is being brewed at the brewery’s new Berlin facility, which opened in September 2015 after more than a year of construction.

In 2014, StoneBerlin launched an Indigo campaign online that eventually raised more than $2.5 million to build the new brewery, with contributors having the option of being awarded large-format bottles of different collaboration beers that will be produced in the next year.

According to a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), Saures Übel will be packaged in 1.5 liter bottles, although some of the collaborations have also been available in 750ml bottles at later dates.

An email sent to the brewery for additional information was not immediately returned.
