A new IPA coming from Stone Brewing Co. next month is named after a a large-format cocktail drink.

Scorpion Bowl IPA is a 7.5 percent ABV IPA brewed with Loral, Mandarina Bavaria and Mosaic hops. The beer is named after an alcoholic beverage that is usually made by combining fruit juice, rum, brandy, gin, and grenadine in a large bowl.

In addition to Scorpion Bowl IPA, Stone’s 2018 release calendar indicates that there will be another new year-round release this year: Ruination Double IPA 3.0, which will replace Ruination Double IPA 2.0 in May and will be packaged in six-packs of 16-ounce cans.

According to Stone’s website, Scorpion Bowl IPA will be packaged in 22-ounce bottles that will be available at retailers nationwide on Feb. 26.
