Stone Brewing Co.’s newest series is getting an addition just in time for summer.
Idolatrous IPA is a 7 percent ABV IPA brewed with El Dorado and Mosaic hops that will be the second release in the Escondido, Calif.-based brewery’s Hop Worship Series, which extolls people to “faithfully worship thy hop in the beauty of blissful bitterness.” The first beer in the Hop Worship Series was Exalted IPA, which was released in February.
“Stone Idolatrous IPA represents the elevated state of reverence that Stone extols for the venerable and almighty Hop”, reads a post on Stone’s website. “Glory be to those who imbibe it in its freshest form.”
According to Stone’s website, Idolatrous IPA will be packaged in six-packs of 12-ounce cans that are scheduled to be released at retailers nationwide on June 18.
