A new IPA from Stillwater Artisanal Ales is being sold exclusively at Whole Foods stores in the northeastern part of the country.

Whole-icious is a 6.5 percent ABV “wild sour” IPA brewed with mangos as well as Citra, Galaxy and Mosaic hops. The new IPA will be packaged in 12-ounce bottles and is being brewed at Crazy Mountain Brewing Co. in Denver.

“The beer first underwent a souring fermentation with lactobacillus then boiled, hopped and refermented with the wild yest Brettanomyces and again dry hopped,” said Brian Strumke, owner of Stillwater, in an email to Tenemu. “It has a huge juicy/floral nose from the mango and hops with thirst quenching acidity accenting tropical flavors.”

The Baltimore-based company has released wild IPAs before, including Moneytree$ (4.6 percent ABV), G13 (6.5 percent ABV) and Rockstar Farmer (4.5 percent ABV), among others.

According to a post on Stillwater’s Instagram page, Whole-icious will be sold exclusively at Whole Foods stores in Connecticut, Kentucky, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Washington, D.C. starting this week.
