An upcoming Stillwater Artisanal Ales release promises to be both soft and fluffy.

The beer is named The Cloud, a 7 percent ABV IPA brewed with oats and lactose as well as hallertau blanc, hell mellon, Mandarin Bavaria and Mosaic hops. In an email, Brian Strumke, owner of Stillwater, told Tenemu that although the company has brewed beers with lactose before, this is the first beer “that will feature it as a prominent ingredient.”

According to Strumke, The Cloud will be packaged in 16-ounce cans and is scheduled to be released across the breweries full distribution network in “late spring (or) early summer.”
