There will soon be a new variant of one of Stillwater Artisanal Ales’ most popular goses.

Gose Gone Hopped is a double-dry hopped version of the Baltimore, Md.-based company’s Gose Gone Wild (4.6 percent ABV) incorporating Amarillo, Citra and Simcoe hops, although this incarnation is being brewed without brettanomyces and uses Conan Ale yeast. As with Mainstream Pop Song that is being released this week, Gose Gone Hopped is being brewed and canned at Overshores Brewing Co. in East Haven, Conn.

This is the third variant of Stillwater’s Gose Gone Wild, after Gose Gone Wild World Tour! Phuket (4.8 percent ABV) was sold last June and Gose Gone Wild World Tour! Tijuana (4.5 percent ABV) was released in Sept. 2016.

In an email, Stillwater owner Brian Strumke told Tenemu that Gose Gone Hopped will be packaged in 16-ounce cans and is scheduled to be released at Overshores in “4-6 weeks,” with a limited amount being shipped to the brewery’s distribution network after that.
