Just three months after Rouge Brewing Co. released a stout with Srirscaha added, Flying Dog Brewery has its own version in the works.

According to filings with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), the 5.5 percent ABV beer named Srirscha Pale Ale will come packaged in 6 packs of 12-ounce bottles, and is brewed “…with a variety of peppers.” The new release is part of the Frederick, Md.-based brewery’s Brewhouse Rarities series, which so far this year has also included Earl Grey Black Wheat (6.3 percent ABV) and Mexican Hot Chocolate Stout (5.7 percent ABV.)

Sriracha, the infamous chili sauce that is popular in Thai and Vietnamese cuisine. The condiment uses chili peppers, garlic, distilled vinegar, sugar, and salt and according to Wikipedia is “named after the coastal city of Si Racha, in Chonburi Province of eastern Thailand.”

An email sent to the brewery for more information was not immediately returned.
