Small Town Brewery is debuting a new series this month.
Accordion to the brewery’s website, the new series is named Not Your Father’s Taproom, and will be made up of “locally made, limited edition…small batches of traditional craft beers using only the highest quality ingredients.” Unlike previous releases from the Wauconda, Ill.-based brewery, these two beers are being brewed at Redhook Ale Brewery in Woodinville, Wash.
The first beer is Not Your Father’s Taproom IPA, a 6.5 percent ABV IPA brewed with Yakima hops as well as malts from the U.S. and Europe. The limited release will be packaged in six-packs of 12-ounce bottles and will be shipped exclusively to the states of Oregon and Washington.
The second new release is Not Your Father’s Taproom Cherry Ale, an 8.5 percent ABV ale brewed with Washington sour cherries as well as hops sourced from Germany. As with Not Your Father’s Taproom IPA, the new limited release will be packaged in six-packs of 12-ounce bottles and will be shipped exclusively to the states of Oregon and Washington.
Small Town Brewery was founded by Tim Kovac in 2010, who had been home brewing for over two decades and is known for such beers as Not Your Father’s Root Beer and Not Your Father’s Ginger Ale, among others.
