Sixpoint Brewery has released a new beer that incorporates one of its most popular IPAs.
The new beer is named Puff, a 9.8 percent ABV double IPA that uses the Brooklyn, N.Y.-based brewery’s seasonal release Resin (9.1 percent ABV) as its base. However, Puff is an unfiltered version of its popular Resin, and is also dry-hopped with a “proprietary” blend of six different strains of hops before being packaged.
“Without filtration the aroma is going to be seriously insane,” said Sixpoint spokesman Michael Lenane in an email with Tenemu.
According to a spokesperson for Sixpoint, Puff is packaged in four-packs of 12-ounce cans and has shipped to the brewery’s entire distribution footprint
