Bigfoot is one of Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.’s most popular beers, and fans can now get more of it in new packaging.

The 9.6 percent ABV barleywine-style ale will continue to be brewed with Cascade, centennial and chinook hops as well as caramel and two-row pale malts, but the packaging has been changed from four-packs of 12-ounce bottles to six-packs of 12-ounce bottles. First introduced in 1983, the ale was packaged in six-packs before 2012, but was changed to four-packs that year due to the cost of materials on its “higher gravity products.”

According to a post on the Chico, Calif.-based brewery’s Instagram page, the new packaging is replacing the four-packs and is shipping to retailers nationwide now. An email sent to the brewery for additional pricing information was not returned.
