One of Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.’s most popular IPAs is turning 10 years old and the celebrate, the brewery is bottling a barrel-aged incarnation.

According to labels filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), Barrel-aged Torpedo is an 8.7 percent ABV IPA brewed with Citra, Crystal, and Magnum hops that has been aged in bourbon barrels for “months” before being packaged in 750ml bottles.

As the name suggests, the base beer is the Chico, Calif.-based brewery’s Torpedo Extra IPA, a 7.2 IPA that debuted in 2009.

An email sent to the brewery for additional information was not immediately returned.
