There are a number of new additions to Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.’s lineup in 2018, including new packaging options, a new seasonal release and a couple of new year-round beers.

First, there will be a new year-round release: Hazy Little Thing IPA, a 6.7 percent ABV IPA brewed with Citra and comet hops that will be packaged in 12-ounce cans. In addition, Ovila Belgian-style white ale will be moving from the Specialty Release line to a year-round release in 12-ounce bottles, while both Otra Vez gose and Nooner Pilsner will packaged in 12-ounce cans instead of 12-ounce bottles.

Sierra Nevada’s Seasonal lineup will also get an addition in the form of Hop Bullet IPA, an 8 percent double IPA brewed with Cascade, centennial, chinook, Crystal and Magnum hops that will be packaged in 12-ounce bottles. The IPA will arrive in January and replaces Beer Camp Golden IPA.

In addition, there will be a new 12-bottle Fall Pack sampler, which will include four different beers packaged in 12-ounce bottles that will available at retailers from July-August:

  • Hoppy Wheat American IPA
  • Vienna Lager
  • Tumbler Autumn Brown Ale
  • Oktoberfest

There will also be four different Hop Packs sampler cases containing three each of four different IPAs packaged in 12-ounce cans that will be released throughout the year:
  • Experimental Hop Pack — January-Feburary
  • Southern Hemisphere Hop Pack — March-May
  • Singe Hop Hop Pack — July-August
  • Fresh Hop Hop Pack — September-November

Finally, there will be four new as yet unnamed additions to Sierra Nevada’s Trip In The Woods Series, which will all be packaged in 750ml bottles and are scheduled to be released in February, June, August and November.
