Side Project Brewing’s newest beer is being released to celebrate the St. Louis, Mo.-based brewery’s Sour Week.
The creation is Pulling Nails Blend 9, a wild ale that is a blend made up of several different beers, including a two-year-old coolship beer, Oude du Blé, a “Vidal Blanc hybrid” and Thicket.
Debuting in 2014, each of the blends for the Pulling Nails Series is different, and Side Project describes the project as an “ongoing experiment in the art of blending to create sour and wild ales of extraordinary depth, complexity and balance.”

According to a post on Side Project’s Instagram page, Pulling Nails Batch Blend 9 is packaged in 750ml bottles and will go on sale at the brewery on March 9 with a purchase limit that will be based on the number of customers that show up for the release.
