After almost four years of waiting, fans of Side Project Brewing’s legendary peach sour is returning this weekend.

Pêche du Fermier is an 8 percent ABV saison refermented on peaches and aged in French oak red wine barrels for “more than a year.” The beer uses the St. Louis-based brewery’s Saison du Fermier (7 percent ABV) as its base and has been released only once before in October 2014.

According to a post on Side Project’s Instagram page, Pêche du Fermier Blend #2 will be packaged in 750ml bottles and is scheduled to be released at the brewery on Sept. 1. As is always the case with Side Project releases, purchase limits will be based on turnout.
