A Side Project Brewing creation that has not been seen in four years is returning this weekend.

That when the Saint Louis, Mo.-based brewery is releasing the newest incarnation of Blanc de Blancs, a Bière de Champagne-syle ale that was in Missouri oak chardonnay wine barrels for two years and re-fermented on Chardonnel grape juice sourced from California. The ale debuted in 2014, although that version came in at 10 percent ABV and was re-fermened on Chardonnel grapes from Missouri.

According to a post on Side Project’s Instagram page, Blanc de Blancs Blend #2 will be packaged in 375ml bottles and will be released this weekend at both of the brewery’s locations this weekend, with purchase limits based on turnout.
