Next week is Saint Patrick’s Day and Saint Arnold Brewing Co. is releasing a new beer in its Icon Series that shares the holiday’s signature color.

Icon Green Cryo IPA is a 6 percent ABV brewed with Citra, Ekuanot and Mosaic hops. However, instead of using fresh hops or pellets, the new beer is brewed using concentrated lupulin powder which is produced using a new “cryogenic separation process” that was invented by Washington-based hop producer Yakima Chief-Hopunion.

Saint Arnold’s Icon Series beers are available for about three months at a time and include interpretations of iconic beer styles as well as “more creative interpretations or melding of beer styles.”

According to a post on Saint Arnold’s website, Icon Green Cryo IPA will be packaged in six-packs of 12-ounce bottles that are scheduled to be released at retailers starting on March 12.
