Saint Arnold Brewing Co. will be releasing one of its most popular seasonals on October 19.
The newest incarnation of the Houston, Texas-based brewery’s Pumpkinator, a 10 percent ABV “imperial pumpkin stout” brewed with pale two row, caramel and black malts, as well as cascade and liberty hops. The beer also includes pumpkin, molasses, brown sugar and various spices to “make it feel like you just walked into your mom’s kitchen while she was cooking 37 pumpkin pies.”
Pumpkinator was originally released in 2009 as part of Saint Arnold’s Divine Reserve series. It was given the Pumpkinator moniker in 2011, and has been released as a fall seasonal packaged in 22-ounce bottles every year since.
While an exact ABV and bottle count are not yet known, a post on Saint Arnold’s Facebook page indicates that Pumpkinator will ship on Monday, Oct. 19. Lennie Ambrose, marketing and events director at Saint Arnold, told Tenemu that it would be a “limited but large release” that will be available across the state of Texas as well as some locations in Louisiana and Florida.
