Saint Arnold Brewing Co. of Houston has filed a label for a new fruited beer to be added to its line-up, Cherry AF.
Cherry AF is a sour berliner weisse-style ale that is made with 100 percent real fruit. According to a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), Saint Arnold calls it “Pleasantly Tart.”
Cherry AF is the second canned sour ale to be sold under the “AF” moniker, following the addition of Raspberry AF to Saint Arnold’s year-round lineup in 2017.
Cherry AF comes in at 3.6 percent ABV and will be packaged in 12-ounce cans.
An email sent to the brewery for information about the timing and distribution of this release was not returned.
