Saint Arnold Brewing Co. has released the newest addition to its Icon Series in the form of Icon Blue Coffee Porter.

The coffee beans used in the beer were from local Houston coffee roaster Java Pura. The malt blend is still something of a mystery, but it is being brewed with Bravo and Willamette hops. Saint Arnold Icon Blue Coffee Porter back

Saint Arnold is describing it as a 6 percent ABV medium-bodied porter with a balance of chocolate, roast and coffee flavors that is packaged in six-packs of 12-ounce bottles.

According to Aaron Inkrott, brewer for Saint Arnold, the first batch of Icon Blue Coffee Porter beer has shipped to retailers and should be available on shelves soon.
