Saint Arnold Brewing Co. will be releasing two different Icon Gold Belgian IPAs, one of which is a “hybrid” IPA brewed with Belgian hops as well as Simcoe hops, while the other incorporates Citra hops. Both represent “a distinctly American approach” and will be the fourth and fifth IPAs in the Houston, Texas-based brewery’s Icon Series.
The Icon Series beers are available for about three months at a time and include interpretations of iconic beer styles as well as “more creative interpretations or melding of beer styles”, with the color rotating with each release.
According to filings with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), both versions of the new Icon Gold Belgian IPA will be packaged in 12-ounce bottles. An email sent to the brewery for additional information was not immediately returned.
