Russian River Brewing Co. has released the latest incarnation of one of its most famous beers.

That beer is Beatification, a 6 percent ABV wild ale that is spontaneously fermented. The newest version of the ale was aged in used wine barrels form local wineries with no added yeast, then nine different batches are blended together before the final creation was bottled.

This is the ninth release of Beatification, which debuted in 2006 and was last available exclusively at the brewery in June 2017, although that version featured bottles that were released “spontaneously” in 100 case allotments.

According to a post on the Santa Rosa, Calif.-based brewery’s Facebook page, Beatification 2018 is available now packaged in 375ml bottles with a six bottle per person limit and a total production of approximately 650 cases.
