Russian River Brewing Co. will be bottling one of its long-time draft-exclusive creations for the first time.

That beer is Propitiation, a 6.25 percent sour porter aged in petite Sirah wine barrels for between 12 and 15 months before being packaged in 375ml bottles. The sour porter has been released periodically as a draft-only option since its debut, but this would be the first time it has been packaged.

In an email, Vinnie Cilurzo, owner and head brewer at Russian River, told Tenemu that Propitiation will be available at the brewery and will get limited distribution when it is sold, but that the beer is still in barrels and there is currently no timeline for its release.
