Avery Brewing Co. has announced the beer that will fill a hole in its seasonal lineup.
That release is named Plank’d, a 15-18 percent ABV porter conditioned on coconut and aged in rum barrels for approximately three months. The new beer is Avery’s latest addition to its Annual Barrel Series and will be replacing Pump[KY]n, which was discontinued last year.
In an email, Vanessa Cory, marketing communications manager at Avery, told Tenemu that the release will include approximately 900 cases of 12-ounce bottles priced at $12 each.
According to a Facebook post, Plank’d will be released at the brewery on May 20 with no purchase limits before being shipped to retailers across Avery’s distribution network nationally in late May to early June.
