After being available in exclusively in bottles and on draft, Rahr & Sons Brewing Co. is releasing its Bucking Bock in cans for the first time. The Fort Worth, Texas-based brewery’s 7 percent ABV German-style bock has not been seen on the market since 2013, although it has been available on the draft at the brewery.

“Cans are better for outdoor environments where glass bottles might not be allowed,” said Rahr & Sons owner Fritz Rahr, in a press release. “We wanted to put Bucking Bock in cans so our fans could drink a seasonal craft beer while enjoying warmer weather and springtime activities, like barbecuing.“

According to a press release, Bucking Bock will be packaged in 12-ounce cans and will be shipped to retailers next week.

An email sent to the brewery for additional details was not immediately returned.
