According to a label filed with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), Prairie Artisan Ales is working on releasing Barrel-Aged Peanut Butter Bomb!, a 14.4 percent ABV imperial stout aged in bourbon barrels and conditioned on peanut butter roasted coffee, cacao nibs, chili peppers and vanilla beans before being packaged in 12-ounce bottles.
As the name suggests, the new stout is the latest variant to use the brewery’s extremely popular Bomb! imperial stout as its base.
In addition, although the beer label attached to this story is the label that was approved by TTB, Prairie frequently changes the final designs of labels before the beers are released to market.
An email sent to the brewery for additional information was not immediately returned.
