Not even one month after Prairie Artisan Ales’ Barrel-Aged Bomb! was shipped, news of another variation of the popular beer has surfaced.
According to Wesley Morrison, brand ambassador for Prairie, the Tulsa, Okla.-based brewery will be shipping a new release of Pirate Bomb! (13 percent ABV), a version of the brewery’s Bomb! imperial stout (13 percent ABV) brewed with coffee, cocao nibs, vanilla beans and chillies that has been aged in rum barrels sourced from Mount Gay Rum in Barbados.

This will be the third time that Pirate Bomb! has been released, with the first incarnation having shipped in October 2013 and the second release shipping in September 2014.
In an email, Morrison told Tenemu that Pirate Bomb! will be packaged in 12-ounce bottles and is scheduled to ship during the third week of March to all markets in the brewery’s distribution footprint.
